Access digital tools and develop your technological skills at the Center for Digital and Visual Literacy (CDVL).
We help students, faculty and staff learn new technologies and programs and integrate them into their work.
Located on the terrace level of McCain Library, the CDVL has two student work areas with iMac computers, a tutoring center for side-by-side support and an audio/video studio with a green screen.
Our iMac computers come equipped with:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Audacity for audio editing
- Apple iLife (iMovie, GarageBand, Photo)
- Apple iWork (Keynote, Numbers, Pages)
- Davinci Resolve for video recording
- Other requested applications
Center for Digital and Visual Literacy Labs
- McCain G11 (digital creator space and classroom) is equipped with 25* student iMac computers and one instructor station for faculty and staff.
- McCain G37 (digital creator space) is equipped with 12* iMacs for student creative projects and small workshops.
- McCain G45 is the Flex Studio for photography, audio and video recording. It includes several photographic backgrounds and a green screen. You can reserve the studios via the McCain Library reservation system on their website.
*During COVID-19, the CDVL observes posted space restrictions according to CDC guidelines.
